About Us

     Hi everybody!  Let me tell you a little about us.  My husband, Mike and I have been married for 19 years.  We have always preferred the country lifestyle and like to be outdoors whenever possible.  We moved to North Judson, IN in 2005 and started our journey towards a simpler (though definitely not easier!) lifestyle.

     Our belief in a coexistence with nature and our surroundings is what led us to getting our first 2 hives back in 2017.  We always plant a large a garden and noticed that honeybees were pretty scarce.  Wouldn't a couple hives be a wonderful addition to our little farmstead?  Access to fresh honey and our own personal little army of pollinators was so appealing!  After reading everything we could and watching lots of videos we finally took the plunge and purchased 2 packages.  We had to have been in those hives every other day that first summer!  Mike was hooked from day one, he had found a passion!  He watched videos of beekeepers from all over the world and devoured scientific papers on everything honeybee.   

      The first few years were filled with successes and failures, but we have found our groove and are on our way to turning our hobby into a successful business.  We are still learning and experimenting and trying new things, so be on the lookout for new products and opportunities as we continue to evolve.  Thank you so much for supporting us on this exciting journey!  We really hope you learn a little something as well as receiving a quality product!  Don't forget to "Stop and smell the roses" and "Bee kind"!
